He had created exquisite portraits, some of which are featured on this web site. Each shows in meticulous detail the skill and craftsmanship that goes into the design and construction of each vessel.
In his decade of creating marine illustrations, Bruce Alderson's international reputation has been firmly established. Noted particularly for his intricate technical art, he has worked closely with some of the world's leading naval architects and designers to bring their concepts to life.  His working knowledge of boats stems from four years of employment as a yacht designer and model-maker for Robert E. Derektor.  His work has appeared in most of the leading marine magazines, including Sail, Power & Motoryacht, Yachting, Cruising World and Sailing World, Sailing, Wooden Boat, and Boat International.
